PLEASE COLOR YOUR 3d Asset as we will be reveal photos / possible livestream and it will be a better way to show your final part on a tablet sceen during the live Stream.  Save as .OBJ

C is for Creature, the on-line art show will be held on October 16 2024. We’ll all post our art at 7pm est on instagram ::}

The theme of art show is loosely based around the Creature of the Black Lagoon, of the Universal Monsters. 

So that we can spread out a bit, I’m going to say we should consider all fish/human  creatures, of all genders.  From popular culture we have Gillman, Sleestak from Land of the Lost, Merman of motu, Abe Sapien of Hellboy, Triton of the Inhumans, Amphibian man of the Shape of Water, and there’s so many more. 

Make your version of a known fish creature character or make up your own with a backstory. If you want to push a bit further, I would say sea creature monsters that are not so human based fit in too. 

A lof of ZBRUSH users have difficulty getting the vertex colors to stay attached to the .OBJ file we use.  From those that use Zbrush and get it to work say rather than using the "decimation master," use the "dynamesh" option when reducing your polygon count and always select preserve vertex colors.  If it works there should be no separate .MTL files and it should have the colors show attached to the .OBJ file preview.  

If you don't know how to color you could send your parts unmerged and @morehorrific or myself could color them.
